Houses of Malachi opened in February 2009, Minister Chaplain Cynthia Hurley, the Founder and President, was given through a prophetic word in 2003 that she would have a women’s ministry.
 

Ms. Hurley's prior occupation as Owner & CEO of her Financial Services Company first used the H.O.M location as her office; after deciding  to put the house on the market, each and every interested buyer couldn’t obtain a mortgage.  
 

Ms. Hurley received a phone call  from a business colleague requesting that she meet with a Pastor who was in search for a house to rent for her women’s program.

The program was for women whose lives were disrupted by homelessness.  An agreement was made, the women moved in and after 1 month, the Pastor disappeared.   Everything that transpired after that blossomed into the Houses of Malachi.  Throughout this entire ordeal, you could witness the hand of God and HIS handy work.

The Lord has blessed Houses of Malachi ministry with the opening of another house located in
​Central Islip NY.   Houses of Malachi has been receiving and transforming lives through the love of Jesus Christ for over 5 years now.      

Houses of Malachi is a Christian non-profit outreach ministry aspiring to help single women by providing shelter in a nurturing & supportive environment, for women whose lives have been disrupted by drug addiction, mental illness and incarceration.
